1 - Fáilte! (Welcome)

Dia duit -> Greet one person

Dia daoibh -> Greet several people

Dia is Muire duit -> answer to someone's greeting

Dia is Muire daoibh -> answer to several people's greeting

In Irish you don't say "to have" but "to be at someone". "Bí + ag", "bí" must be conjugated according to what we have, and "ag" must be associated to the owner. For example, to say "I have children", you must say "Children are at me": Tá clann agam.

To say that you can speak a language, you must say that you have the language. "I can speak Irish" would be translated to "Tá Gaeilge agam"
